Shades of Blue

I don’t really get into theme dressing very much.  No color appropriate ensembles from me.  Party pooper?  Probably.  So, for Valentine’s Day I wore shades of blue, with a pop of red thrown in for good measure.

Yesterday  I went and met with a new wardrobe client and celebrated Valentine’s Day with my husband.  For the past seven years, we have made a pizza together to celebrate this day.  We initially started it because we were still in school and couldn’t afford a fancy night out.  Now, even though we can afford a meal out, we keep with our tradition because it is ours, feels more like ‘us’, and because we love pizza.  Last night we made a caramelized onion, spinach, and truffle white pizza.  Washed down with a glass of Earthquake red Zin.  It was a great night.  How was your day?

Wearing a vintage silk top, Anthro skirt and shoes, and a Kendra Scott necklace.

  1. LOVE this outfit Sydney! The colors are so fun and the fit is spot on as usual!

  2. This is an absolutely stunning outfit on you. The shoes are the perfect unexpected twist, and the top is gorgeous with your complexion.

It was beautiful! It started off with peach roses, a lovely/funny card, and then lunch at our favorite restaurant! (we really couldn’t afford it, but we did it anyway!). Your pizza sounds amazing to me; unfortunately my Long Islander husband would say, “That’s NOT a pizza!” lol…

  4. Ok, I feel like I’m always saying the same thing but it’s true: I love how you mix colors together. I love the simplicity of the look, but wow it definitely makes an impact. Very pretty!

  5. Loving all the color blocking you created. So in style!

Long time! How have you been?
