Saturation

Saturday after I shopped with a client, I  changed my skirt, tights, and sweater for this brighter  outfit to run a couple errands.  What?  You don’t change mid-day?

Oh, and I didn’t sign up for Kendi’s 30x3o this time around due to laziness, but I really should have.  I am wearing the same thing over and over again.

I am wearing a thrifted Ralph Lauren jacket, vintage silk top, my J Brand jeans, and Calvin Klein shoes.

  1. I’m so in love with layering different shades/tones of red and pink. When I was younger I never would have dreamed of pairing red with pink or coral, but now I think it’s just so appealing.

  2. you look fab! love the color combo and everything looks tailor made for you!

I love the chances you take with color–and it always WORKS! So springy (oh, and do we ever need that in MN!). I see a lot of people talk about how great J Brand jeans are. In your opinion, how do they fit? Would they fit a bigger girl (size 12-14 or 32 in jeans)? Someone with thighs and a booty? Love ’em, just don’t trust that they’ll work.

    • Thanks! Spring is here fore the meantime. We are going to have some cold weather again this week, but it has been nice the past couple of days.

I think J Brand would be worth a try. Many of them have a higher rise and are true to size. I can’t wear some jeans because of my bigger booty, and I love my J Brands because they fit my rear. Give a try! The dark, clean wash is really flattering, too.

    • Oh, and that should be for, not fore…..

Sent from my phone. Please excuse any mistakes.

  4. I love this combination of colors, it works so well and it’s so simple and classic! What a great way to tip off spring! =)

  5. Monochromatic is definitely good in my book. This outfit is really classic, I love it! Perhaps a little Valentines-y?
